About Debt Free Calc
Debt Free Calc is a free debt payoff calculator that runs in your web browser. You enter your debts, add what you can pay each month, and it shows the date you could be debt free.
What it does
- Compares the snowball method (smallest balance first) with the avalanche method (highest interest rate first).
- Shows your estimated debt-free date, how long the payoff takes, and the total interest you would pay.
- Lists the order your debts get cleared and a month-by-month schedule.
Why we built it
Many debt calculators ask you to create an account or hand over personal details before they show you anything. We wanted a tool that lets people see their debt-free date and plan their payoff without signing up or sharing data.
Everything you enter stays in your browser. It is not sent anywhere and it is not stored. You can read more on the Privacy Policy page.
How it is paid for
The calculator is free to use. The site shows ads through Google AdSense, which covers the cost of keeping it online.
What to keep in mind
The results are estimates. Real lenders may calculate interest daily, charge fees, or change rates, so your actual payoff date can differ. Debt Free Calc is not financial advice, and it is not a substitute for talking to a qualified adviser about your situation.
